Sometimes I can’t sleep at all…and other times I sleep too much. But tried and true, I dream. Sometimes everything makes sense, most times it does not. The over analyzing has begun to eat me alive. They say to live out your dreams, to make them reality; I cannot. Putting them in text will be my reprieve from doubt and regret.

Who says to live out your dreams? Not that I think one should not (well…I suppose it all depends upon what those dreams are).
Self-analysis is a labyrinth for a thinking person – a labyrinth from which there is no escape. Do you have something “other?” In other words, do you have a passion that can take you out of yourself (music, athletics, wine, painting, etc.)?
So thanks for your comment on that interesting little piece I found. And, yes, jumbo franks are next. Um…don’t give the fuckers any ideas.
Anyway, I think a blog about your dreams is a cool idea. Do you keep a journal? I like your Reznor post – having to “scrape [your dream] off” by posting. Have you seen that great Bowie/Reznor rendition of “Hurt?” It’s on my blog under music. Those guys worked so well together.
Good luck sorting out whatever you are trying to sort out (and never will be able to). I’ll keep an eye out for future posts. You’re interesting.
I find the misogynist quotation fun…your devil’s gateway quote. On a certain level, I think it’s actually true. But, of course, we males are our own little gateway as well…so I think it makes us even in the end.
